How long will it take to get my order?
Our current production time is 3-4 weeks. Domestic orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and takes 2 - 3 business days to arrive depending on the location. International orders are shipped via DHL International Express and takes 5-7 business days to arrive depending on the location.

What if I need my order faster?
Rush shipments are available for domestic orders for an additional $50.
Is my shipment insured?
Orders over $150 are insured with USPS or DHL. For orders over $500, signature is required.
What about duties & taxes?
For international shipments, customers will be responsible for any customs/duties taxes that are required.

We ship from our studio in New York City.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
We understand the nature of online purchases and are happy to accept returns and refund your purchase within 15 days of you receiving your order. After 15 days, we can no longer accept returns.
All of our pieces are handmade to order, so please contact us with any questions prior to purchasing to avoid returns and restocking fees. We recommend that you confirm sizing for rings, size of piece, or any other customized pieces prior to placing your online order.
To qualify for return:
- To be eligible for a return, items must be UNWORN, UNUSED, and in the same condition that you received it
- Items must be in all original packaging (tags, box, polishing cloths, and pouch included)
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Due to their custom nature, made-to-order jewelry are final sale. Made-to-order jewelry includes customized orders that are not part of our standard line.
- Items that have been resized, engraved, or modified are not eligible for return.
We understand how frustrating it can be to have your jewelry not meet expectations, but as a small, growing company we are unable to provide a full refund at this time due to us investing in each piece for when the order is placed. Thank you for understanding!
Refund
- 30% restocking fee will be deducted from overall purchase amount.
- Balance will be refunded back to original method of payment minus shipping costs. Customer is responsible for return shipping.
Store Credit
We do not offer exchanges at this time. But we can offer store credit towards a future purchase. If you opt for store credit, your return will be eligible for:
- Free return shipping.
- 25% restocking fee (instead of 30%) will be deducted from the overall purchase amount.
Balance will be in the form of store credit minus shipping costs.
What is your exchange policy?
We do not offer exchanges at this time. But we can offer store credit towards a future purchase. If you opt for store credit, your return will be eligible for:
- Free return shipping.
- 25% restocking fee (instead of 30%) will be deducted from the overall purchase amount.
Balance will be in the form of store credit minus shipping costs.
How do I initiate a return?
Email customerservice@agildedleaf.com with your order number, the item(s) you would like to return, the reason for return, and the type of refund (original payment method or store credit).Please note: we do not accept returns after 15 days. If your jewelry is damaged or need repairs see our Warranty section.
How much is the return shipping fee?
Original shipping fee is non-refundable. Customer is responsible for the return shipping. If the customer is unable to create a return shipping label, A Gilded Leaf will create one and the fee will be deducted from the refund.
When will I receive my refund?
Your refund will be processed within 7 business days upon receipt of the product. Once processed, we will send you a confirmation email.
What if I purchased the wrong size?

Jewelry Care & Guide
What materials do you use?
- A Gilded Leaf products are made from high quality solid 14K gold.
- Our diamonds are conflict-free. We handpick diamonds that are F Color, VS Clarity with excellent cut for optimal sparkle.
- Our gemstones are natural and graded as AA. They are eye-clean with no visible inclusions.
- Our moissanites are from the Charles & Colvard Forever One collection and come with a warranty card from Charles & Colvard.
Where are your products made?
Our products are handmade in NY. We work with local artisans and jewelers to craft all pieces. We get 100% of our gold, gemstones and diamonds from local businesses. Supporting local businesses is very important to us because it helps continue the tradition of small, family owned businesses while preserving the intricate craftsmanship they have to offer.

Can you repair, restore, or resize my jewelry?
For most pieces, yes, absolutely! If you need something repaired, resized, or restored, we’re always here for you. While there may be some fees associated with your request, we will always be straightforward about them before beginning any work on your ring so you can confirm that. Visit our care page for more information or to start your service request.
How to clean my jewelry with my polishing cloth?
All purchases come with a free polishing cloth so that you can easily polish your jewelry on your own. Simply rub your jewelry with the polishing cloth gently. It is normal to see dark residue after polishing, this means it’s doing its job!
Please wash your hands after every use as the cloth contains a cleaning agent to help remove dirt and oil from your pieces. Do not wash your polishing cloth, as it will lose its effectiveness! Keep out of reach of children.
Warranty
What is the warranty for domestic orders?

What is the warranty for international orders?
We do not offer a warranty on international orders at the moment.
Should your ring need emergency assistance or has defects, we are happy to repair the ring. There may be some fees associated with your request. We cannot cover the costs of international return shipping at this time.
Do you offer an extended warranty?
Yes, we offer an extended 3-year warranty plan for $120.
Our 3-year Extended Service Plan provides additional peace of mind beyond our complimentary manufacturing warranty by protecting and upholding the quality of your A Gilded Leaf jewelry. When you purchase our Extended Service Plan, A Gilded Leaf will provide full inspection and cleaning for your new jewelry as well as covered repairs that may become necessary due to normal wear.
Includes:
- Re-tipping prongs (limited)
- Annual re-rhodium plating white gold
- Annual inspection of your jewelry
- Tightening loose stones
- Replacing missing melees (side stones)
- Broken earring backs or posts
- Resetting your diamonds and gemstones
- Resizing (1x)
- Chain Soldering
- Reshaping rings
Does not include:
- Damage done to the ring outside normal wear and tear
- Rebuilding shanks
- Lost or stolen pieces
- Loss of center stones
- The service plan is currently only available in the United States and is not available for international orders.
Gifting
Can I have my order gift-wrapped with a gift receipt?
Yes! Each piece is carefully inserted in a box or a pouch and then placed in a gift box.
During checkout, make sure to indicate if the piece is a gift and we'll make sure to include a gift receipt.
Can I leave a gift message?
Yes! Our gift notes are printed with your special message. It will be printed exactly how it is entered, so make sure there are no errors and no emojis are used. We want to make unboxing special for everyone, even when it's a gift for yourself. That said, we will combine items into one box if it is not indicated that it is a gift.
We're not able to accommodate shipments of additional packaging alone at this time, as there will be increased shipping fees associated.
Do you offer discreet packaging?
To protect your privacy and the value of the contents within the package, all orders will be shipped in an unmarked package (either a box or a bubble wrapped mailer). There will be no branding on the outside of the packaging.

Is custom jewelry sustainable?
One of our guiding principles is creating high end jewelry that doesn’t harm the Earth. Every ounce of your jewelry is sourced as sustainably as possible, using local materials wherever possible, and every stage of the crafting process is done by small businesses and artisans within a block of A Gilded Leaf’s New York City headquarters.
We can trace every part of your final piece back to its source and we know exactly whose hands have turned your jewelry from design into reality. We only create pieces that are approved by you every step of the way, ensuring that materials aren’t wasted.
Our footprint is incredibly small and we work hard to make it even smaller at every opportunity. Our focus is on minimizing waste and supporting truly local small businesses means that we’re doing our part to make your jewelry as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.
Are lab-grown diamonds more sustainable?
Lab-grown diamonds are touted as the solution to the environmental and social costs of mining, by eliminating the carbon footprint of mining machinery and helping to stop problematic labor issues in the mining process. But creating a diamond in a lab takes a huge amount of energy and takes money out of the hands of those who need it the most.
There’s no denying that there are big issues in the diamond mining industry, but taking money away from local miners and giving it to big businesses doesn’t solve the problem. Miners are left with no means to support their families, while big diamond corporations swim in even more unnecessary profits.
When we create your custom jewelry, we don’t use lab-created diamonds. Instead, we support a local jeweler who travels across the world to source diamonds in the most sustainable way possible. It’s not a perfect process, but we’re able to trace every diamond we use back to its origin and support a local one-man band in the process.
